Installing Deconel is a one-step process. Deconel panels are applied directly to preexisting hard panels eliminating the traditional layered installation process.

Q: What is the lead time of Deconel?
Each Deconel panel is unique; the production times of certain designs are different than others. 4~6 weeks is average,, but please contact us for an estimate.

Q: Is Deconel easy to maintain?
With proper care, Deconel is very easy to maintain. Depending on fabric type, a simple vinegar and water solution or mild soap will remove soils.
Q: What types of materials are used in Deconel?
Deconel can be made using a variety of materials. We are able to produce Deconel with material such as microfiber, Ultraleather, Ultrasuede, most textile fabrics, and other materials specified by the customer. All customers specified material is tested to meet proper application specifications.

Q: What other effects can be done?
Several different effects can be applied to add extra accents to a Deconel panel. Techniques include embossing, recessing, carving, shading, puzzling, gold and silver leafing, crease and pleating, stitching, distressing, etc.. Materials such as beads, crystals, sequins and other fire retardant elements can be used as well. Each of these effects can increase the definition and crispness of any design. Q: Does Deconel pass burn test requirements?
For commercial applications, Deconel passes OSU 65/65 test (FAA FAR 25.853 Appendix F Part IV) and Smoke Density test (FAA FAR 25.853 Appendix F Part V). For cooperate, Deconel passes the 60 second and 12 second vertical burn tests.
